MONITOR/TERMINAL
RECYCLING AND DISPOSAL:
Monitors
and terminals can't simply be thrown away
anymore. Improper disposal of lead is now
illegal. The cathode ray tubes in these
monitors/terminals usually have lead in them so
throwing them into the local landfill is really
not an option.
When we take these monitors and terminals into
our facility, they go through a thorough disposal
preparation process designed to minimize waste,
recycle all reusable components and salvage
components.
The process of this recycling is as follows: Each
unit is completely disassembled into various
components. We separate the plastic from the
housing for disposal. We then remove and, if
possible, salvage the circuit boards and the
other electronic components. The cathode ray tube
(CRT) is separated and recycled as a reusable
commodity.
But you don't have to worry about any of that.
All you need to do is call us and tell us how
many you have and where they're located. We'll
take care of the rest!
